The service department there has got to be the WORST I have ever seen, and witnessed in my life! There are no indoor service bays, the mechanic working, better yet attempting to work had no clue what he was doing. The more he tried the madder he got. My instincts told me to run, find someone who can fix my fridge. There were 2 guys in the parts store who actually laughed at what was happening with this paid idiot who was way in over his head! After 2 hours I told them to stop and let me find a qualified repair center. To my horror I was given a bill for $190.00 for the 2 hours wasted. I refused to pay this! Eventually they agreed I did not have to pay, and I was back on the road. I did find a service center, Majors RV in Bourne, Ma. about 5 miles away who were able to repair the fridge, the burner had filled with rust and was preventing the gas side to light. They showed me this and had me back underway in less than an hour. You'll wind up with more problem going to this company, Campers Headquarters or CHL as they kept calling themselves, than you pulled in with.

Let others know what you think of Camper Headquarters.

I would recommend this company to a friend.

This place is in serious finacial trouble! Everyone in the campgrounds down here on the Cape are talking about the bad experiences we have had for the last year dealing with them. They have no problem showing up and starting work, then charging you a road fee and for the time they spent there, only to tell you they have to order parts and you never see them again. If you call, good luck talking to anyone. They always seem to be out working and will call you back as soon as they have a minute. Stop there and the sole person working tells you to leave your name and number and someone will call you. This place is a complete RIP-OFF! Don't be taken in by thier smiles and promises, pay them one cent and you'll never see them again. If you want your problem taken care of and done right LOOK ELSEWHERE!

I did notice on thier website it states; Just ask some of our customers. I found a site called rvservicereviews.com and was suprised to see that statment came from someone who had thier trailer worked on at another dealership called Campers Headquarters Inc. located in Walpole Mass. not Campers Headquarters LLC in Wareham? And the website inventory is about all there is to offer from these clowns and liars. They should be ashamed to open that place, and take money from hard working people!

After talking with the salesman there for the last 4 1/2 months about the purchace of a new Gearbox toy hauler, he just FLAT OUT LIED and told me Fleetwood was not going to market this brand in the North East. Getting short on time I contacted Fleetwood and was directed to Colony RV Sales in Warwick RI. If these units were not going to be marketed in New England, why does a RI dealer have them in stock? Here are the emails I have exchanged with them: Thank you for your interest Kevin and sorry for the late answer. Fleetwood is not going to market the gearbox name in this part of the country.

Patrick,
I was wondering if any of the Gearbox units have arrived yet. My sons racing season will be starting soon, and we would like to see this unit. Can you provide me with a rough trade in for my unit? Is my 16,000 pound reese hitch big enough to handle the 39? The cost to upgrade to a larger if needed, can I get a trade on the hitch towards a new one?

I am currently on the market for a 395fs3g, and wondered if you had one on the lot to look at? Your web site doesn't show any inventory??? We live on the No. Shore, and would like to see this unit before ordering. We are planning on going to the show this weekend, will you be bringing any of these to the show? We have a 2006 31 Raptor by Keystone that we will be looking to trade, it has the elec rer bed, slide out, only used last year, it still has 8 months left on the warranty.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Curiosity got the better of me and my family an I took a hour ride down here to look for a camper.
1. Upon arrival we were a bit puzzled, the only inventory was a lone 2008 Prowler.
2. The used inventory consisted of maybe 10 or so units that were there on consignment, or so we were told.
3. The store for parts looked new, but there really wasn't a service dept. Work was being done outside in the rain by a lone service person. He was actually working on installing a roof in the rain???
4. The sales building seemed to have the only working bathroom on premises. avoid this at all costs!!
5. After looking at what they had, and then finding out they were not in the position to take my trade, they wanted it on consignment, we left.
6. I have to admit the salesman was nice, new the product, just seemed to be stuck in a bad situation he has no control of.
7. I am now sure in my findings that this place seems to be hurting and I feel bad for the 2 or so people working there.
8. I did purchase a new unit today, not from this company, and did trade my 2005 in.
9. Don't let your curiosity get to you, take my advice and save your time and travel, just look and buy alsewhere.
10. Good luck to these guys, maybe with the lack of what you have, you can weather out the economy.

I had the misfortune of going there to have my L.P. tank topped off for a cookout we were having. I was told the cost to fill was $18.50 I explained to the man there it did not need to be filled only topped off, he replied there is a flat fee to fill L.P. cylinders. I tried to explain that L.P. gas is a commodity and had to be sold by the gallon, the same way he purchased it. Does he pay a flat fee to have his tank topped off? To my suprise I was asked to leave the property, have my tank TOPPED off elsewhere and don't bother coming back in the future.
I will never go back there, and I advise anyone to look elsewhere also!

My trailer was brought into Camper's Headquarters in Walpole, MA in July of 2007 to have a defective roof replaced. At the time I was told that it would be approximately 8-10 weeks to get the part in from Jayco and repair it. I cannot tell you the crap that I was fed from Steve, who was in Walpole and is now working in the East Wareham facility. I have everything in writing, including dates, times of calls, conversations, etc. It was disgusting the lies I was told by Steve and he wouldn't even take my calls after a while. It came down to the fact that he ran his business in Walpole, MA so bad that they closed down. He blamed everyone but himself for his bad credit problems. I finally contacted Jayco headquarters myself and they told me the truth about what was going on. Steve totally BS'd me about everything to do with my trailer including moving it from Walpole to E. Wareham without ever contacting me. Jayco picked up the pieces and had a reputable dealer (Camper's Inn in Raynham, MA) pick up my trailer, send it to Merrimack, NH and here it is 4/17/08 and I am finally getting my trailer back, NO thanks to Steve. He no longer has any credit with Jayco to have repairs made on Jayco trailers. BEWARE, STEVE WILL BLAME EVERYTHING ON SOMEONE ELSE INSTEAD OF STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE AND TAKING THE RESPONSIBILITY HIMSELF.

I can\'t believe what I have seen at this location. They advertise as a Prowler dealer, they have one lousy new trailer in stock and a bunch of crap kicking around. I will admit the guys there are funny and like to joke around, but besides that it is a dump. There is one fat guy who needs a shave that works in the store he really doesn't know much about the business but he does try.

How can Fleetwood set up a dealer like this? Are they in that bad of a situation that they have to scrap the bottom of the barrel? I stopped by and was really stumped at the lack of inventory, NO SHOP, or SERVICE DEPT. and the only ones around wanted deposits to order anything. They won't even take a trade, kept telling me to give it to them and they would sell it before my new one came in. I hope the 10 or so people who's units are there, aren't waiting for a new one to come in! Mine won't be!
Go up the road to 44 in Taunton/Raynham and deal with some respectful people!

After finding this site I totally agree with what the others have posted here. We (my family and I) stopped in to look at the 2008 inventory and found nothing in stock. One new? unit, and 8-9 used trailers, JUNK. They are convientlly waiting for the 2009 units to come in this Sept.
We were really discouraged by the attitudes here, they even asked for a deposit on a unit due in September. Word to the wise, there is a Prowler dealer in RI, don't go to these scamers.

The description is a complete joke! they are not a dealer, only a JUNK yard! If you don't believe go look. Hold on to your wallet. They are a bunch of rip-off artists. I will never go back, and will talk anyone I know from going there. the place is a dump! STAY AWAY, all I can say!
